German-born Chi-Young Hwang, 27, is walking proof that Renaissance women still exist. Not only is she fluent in four languages, including Korean, French and German, Chi-Young would like to learn a fifth, Spanish. As far as musical performances go Chi-Young has spent years on the stage and even played with the Cleveland Orchestra once, an experience she refers to as her “ultimate dream performance”. Nowadays, Chi-Young prefers to showcase her skills on Bach, Brahms and 20th century compositions. Red Bull Artsehcro and playing a concerto alongside a turntable will definitely be new territory for Chi-Young, but a welcome challenge.
